1. Who we are

Career Navigator, operated by Sangeeta Ajwani, provides career counselling, academic planning and university guidance for students and families. For privacy questions or requests about personal information, contact careernavigator9@gmail.com.

2. Information we may collect

When you contact Career Navigator or submit an enquiry, the website may collect information such as:

• name and contact details such as phone number and email address;
• student grade and school-board information;
• academic information that you choose to provide, such as percentages and subjects;
• preferred Indian or international admissions pathway and consultation mode;
• the contents of your enquiry or message;
• where the student is under 18, parent or lawful-guardian details and consent information.

3. Why we use this information

Information is used only for purposes connected with the enquiry and services, including responding to requests, arranging consultations, understanding a student's stated goals, providing career or university guidance, and communicating about an enquiry.

We do not use children's personal data for behavioural tracking or targeted advertising through this website.

4. Children and parent / guardian consent

Career Navigator serves students from Grade 8 through postgraduate studies, including students who may be under 18. The enquiry form asks for the student's age group and, where applicable, parent or lawful-guardian details and consent.

For students under 18, the form requires parent/lawful-guardian name, email, phone number and a consent confirmation. These details are collected for the enquiry and consultation process. Where applicable law requires additional verification of parental identity or consent, the responsible data fiduciary should use an appropriate verification process rather than relying on a checkbox alone.

5. Sharing and service providers

Career Navigator uses third-party service providers for hosting and form submission. Appointment enquiries submitted through this website are processed using Formspree, which acts as the form-processing service. Information submitted through the form may therefore be processed by Formspree in accordance with its own terms and privacy practices. The website does not intentionally collect advertising or behavioural-tracking data through the enquiry form.

6. Retention

Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry, consultation or related business purpose, or for a period required by applicable law. Where information is no longer required, reasonable steps should be taken to securely delete or anonymise it, subject to applicable retention requirements and records held by service providers.

7. Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. The website uses HTTPS and Formspree for form processing. Access to enquiry data should be limited to people who need it for the relevant business purpose, with appropriate security settings maintained for hosting and third-party services.

8. Your rights and requests

Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may contact Career Navigator to ask questions about how your personal data is processed and to request applicable rights such as access, correction, updating or deletion. Requests can be sent to careernavigator9@gmail.com.

9. Third-party links

This website may link to universities, Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and other third-party services. Those services have their own privacy practices and policies. Career Navigator is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the website, services, data practices or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
